Buddy (Renamed Buster when adopted)
Foster 12/19/07 - 1/5/08
Buster, a Border Collie, was full of energy and had loads of personality.  He wasn't afraid of anything, he
would stand his ground and challenge our pack.  We never imaged he would get to be as big as he did.

Junior (Renamed Marley when adopted)
Foster 3/22/08 - 4/20/08
Marley, a Dachshund German Shepherd mix, was a rescue from a kill shelter in Tarboro. An Animal
Control Officer took him to a local groomer until we could pick him up.  Marley had a lot of personality,
was a good listener and loved his foster daddy.  He went to a great home with a wonderful family.

Max (Renamed Clancy), black dog & Tank, Tan dog
Foster 5/14/08 - 7/13/08
Clancy and Tank, Boxer mixes, are two beautiful brothers we fell in love with.  Their mom was scheduled
to be euthanized and was rescued by BFPA.  The mom and her liter of pups have all been adopted.  It
was a challenge fostering two puppies at the same time.  It meant many sleepless nights and no relaxing
at all. We really wanted to keep Clancy and Tank, but we knew we had too much to do with our other six
dogs.  A husband and wife originally wanted Tank, but once they met both of them and saw how close
they were, they adopted both of them.  It was very hard for us to let them go, but when you know they are
going to loving homes, it makes it a bit easier.  We continue to see Clancy and Tank.

Roxie
Roxie, 13 month old Border Collie mix, was rescued from an abusive situation. Kept on a tie out, beaten
by her owner and only fed on occasion, Roxie came to us very scared and unsure.  She was very timid
with men and showed her teeth with our pack.  Slowly we introduced her to two of our dogs.  December
4th Roxie went to stay at our friends house, who also foster, because of Ron having surgery.  On
December 24th the foster husband called us and asked if they could adopt Roxie.  She went to a loving
home with a loving fur baby brother, and we couldn't of been happier.
